Rancho Las Lomas Wedding

Rancho Las Lomas is a secluded outdoor wedding venue in Orange County. It is located in a canyon near the 241 toll road. This venue has a modern spanish feel with nature surrounding the venue. It can hold up to 300 guests and it is an exclusive wedding venue to 24 Carrots Catering Company. As a wedding planner that specializes in Orange County weddings this venue is truly one of a kind.

The venue fee ranges from $5,500-$10,500 depending on the selected wedding date. The catering per person cost ranges from $175-$250 per person depending on the type of menu you would like. 24 Carrots is the exclusive caterer but they do have some exclusive catering partners that they allow to cater do to different cultural cuisines.

My most recent wedding at Rancho Las Lomas was a couple that had Indian wedding and 24 Carrots partnered with Natraj’s Tandoori to bring them the Indian cuisine they wanted. 24 Carrots still had their staff and bar work the event but Natraj’s catering team was present for the catering. We did a tasting at Natraj’s and they selected a custom menu for their wedding. They really took care of them and had delicious food.

24 carrots provides one of the best wedding experiences as they truly take care of their couples. All of their venues include tables, chairs, and poly linens you can choose from. Of course you can upgrade all of your rentals if you want to but their packages do include a baseline of rentals.

They have two main ceremony locations at Rancho Las Lomas. The upper parking lot where highlights the tall trees and wood stairs. This location is great if you want to really utilize the entire property. The disadvantage is there is no shade so it could be hot for your guests if your ceremony is on the longer side. The second location is probably the more popular one and it is in the main reception space and they flip it from the ceremony to the reception. Typically you have the ceremony on the gazebo area but there are many ways to do it if you would like to highlight another area for your ceremony.

For cocktail hour at Rancho Las Lomas it is on the middle area of the venue that has a fountain and is by tree. This area does get some shade and your guests can over flow in the indoor room they have during cocktail hour if you request it or your guest count is on the larger side. They typically have 1-2 bars for cocktail hour one by the fountain and the other inside the room if your guest count is on the larger size. 24 carrots offer a cash bar to a fully hosted bar with 3 tiers of alcohol you can select from. This cost would tie into your per person cost depending on what you select.

Now let’s talk about the reception area. 24 Carrots provided these chairs. linens, and tables for this Rancho Los Lomas Wedding. We opted for a mix of round and long tables to give the space a little more dimension. We also rented a dance floor that was the center of the layout so all of their guests could see the planned dances throughout the night. Rancho has a built in bar at the reception area that can service all of your guests.

The entire wedding day was so incredible and fun! It was definitely one to remember. I look forward to planning a lot more weddings at Rancho Las Lomas in the future.
